If you have a group that is interested in participating in World Book Night on Monday, 23 April, please contact Laurie or Jamie at Flyleaf Books. You need to have a proposal for your group in by 1 March in order to become book givers. Laurie or Jamie will help you summit a proposal for your group. (NOTE: The following books are not eligible for either of this program; the individual givers have taken the entire allocation: Hunger Games, The Book Thief, Because of Winn Dixie, Ender’s Game, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.)
For those of you who have already registered to be a "book giver", you will be able to pick up your books at Flyleaf Books on Monday, 16 April from 5:00-8:00 pm. Bring a plain black or white t-shirt (BYOT) to make your own "giver" shirt to wear when handing out books on the 23rd. We will have goodies and you can get a discounted coffee or tea at Foster's. You'll also get a chance to meet other givers from the community.
